This is Kobe, a handsome 6 year old Black and Tan purebred MALE German Shepherd dog from American show lines. He does come with a Pedigree. He is just stunning! Pictures do not do this dog justice. You will need to see and meet him in person. I am the Foster mom and Rescuer. He is an Owner Surrender due to hard economic times. He needs a second chance at life. He is shy at first but opens up quickly. He gets excited at going for walks, rides in the car and meeting people as well as other dogs. He is friendly and curious. He has a pleasant and loving nature and confident personality. He is very smart and learns very quickly. He has his basic manners, sit, downs and heels. He is happy go lucky, loyal and loving dog. He walks nicely on a leash. He is good with most dogs and currently lives with 2 lab mixes. He does live with a cat as well, so he is OK with cats but sometimes will give playful chase. He lives with kids currently but very young kids. I would like to place him in a CHILD FREE home. As teens did tease him so at times he can be protective. He would be BEST suited for a family with NO CHILDREN or an older couple that wants a companion to go for walks with and have as a house dog. He does have a good energy level and likes to play and go for walks. He is house broken and is kennel/crate trained. His main issue that need a confident pack leader and an adopter that is familiar with German Shepherds and their personalities. He is going to make someone an amazing and loving companion. He loves human contact. He is just an all around great GSD. He is healthy, happy, strong and no hip issues that we are aware of. He loves to go for walks and rides great in the car. This dog has a good energy level he will make a good walking companion. He needs to find a home with a family or to someone with lots of time for training and to give this dog exercise. AGAIN THE IDEAL SITUATION FOR THIS BOY WOULD BE A CHILD FREE HOME. Please remember German Shepherds require continuous training and stimulation as they can get bored easily. They are a very intelligent breed. So when considering 'adopting' one please do your research to see what they require and all that they entail. Make sure this is the RIGHT breed of dog for you. These dogs live to be around 10-14 years old. Are very intelligent and need a lot of stimulation. ('A German Shepherd mind is a terrible thing to waste'). They are a very loyal and loving breed. Has been de wormed and de flead. We also offer free training as a part of our adoption process and donation. She does offer 10% to all our adopters.
